Desperate is the word that describes Emily when she made her first visit to One80 Ministries. She was overwhelmed by the situation she had found herself in, and making simple decisions felt impossible. She was paralyzed by fear of failure and losing what little she had left.

She cried out “I need someone to listen and help me unravel this mess, please!”  We started by giving her a safe place to share her story.

Emily was living in her car as her home was not a safe place for her. She was picking up any extra work available, so she could pay for a storage unit, keep gas in her car to stay warm while she slept, and put food in her stomach.   Desperate. Emily was Desperate.

We invite you to join us in sharing the Hope of Jesus as we encounter more people like Emily.  Your gifts help to provide transitional living spaces for women facing vulnerable situations. Having a safe place to rest, restore and connect to a community of loving people is vital to the women we encounter. We cannot go back and change the beginning of their stories, but together, we are able to change their ending.

In the last 12 months we have provided SEVEN women refuge in the ONE80 Ministries living space.
